The Norries Return From Holland

Both our 1991s and 1996s played with great spirit and determination throughout the 5 day tournament in Holland.

The 91s returned four wins out of four for 12 points in their Group A matches. However their progression to a final was thwarted with one win and one draw in their second stage matches gaining 4 points from 12. Still a magnificent effort from all players who were playing teams a year older than themselves in every match.

The 96s got off to a bad start when they were subjected to last minute fixture changes which saw them play three games on day 1 without a single point being won. Their final match in this group A saw a 7 - 0 victory which raised spirits for their Group B games.

Here they gained 10 points from 12 and progressed through to the Group B final. Without doubt our best match of the tournament and although we lost 3 - 2 every player gave their all and can be proud of themselves.
