Haarlam Cup 2005

The Norries Under-11 produced another excellent performance in the 2005 Haarlem Cup. The boys finished an unlucky third in the tournament and missed out on qualification for the final only on goal difference, despite having beaten the ultimate winners of the tournament in their last group match.

The team produced a series of first-class performances culminating in two fine victories on the final day of competition, when they defeated Premier Soccer E2 2-1 and Zeeburg Welzijn aan't IJ (the ultimate winners ) 2-0. The entire squad contributed to what was a great achievement and their attitude and behaviour both on and off the field was a credit to Benevolent Fund and Development Squads.
